DEVIL'S TOWN is stylish comedy that satirizes contemporary Serbian society.It is structured as multiple story film with various related characters whose paths criss-cross in a single day when entire nation is glued to the TV sets, watching national tennis stars playing in a major tournament. The Devil's Town is a film about people driven only by their basic needs, deep instincts, obsessions, ambitions, fears and frustrations. A businessman who can't avoid corruption... A poor girl trying to afford tennis equipment at any price... A rich teenager who can't buy himself love... Rich prostitutes pretending to be happy... A taxi driver who blames the rest of the world for his personal misfortune. Dynamic, unpredictable plot and matching-action cutting makes 82 minutes of the film very intense and drammatic.
